August 2007 Meeting Minutes
August 16, 07 by Iroquois County Amateur Radio ClubPres Carl opened the meeting at 7:07 at Red Cross in Watseka. The July minutes were read and approved. The treasure’s report was read and approved.
Old Business
New duplexer is working very well. We will touch up the squelch just a bit and turn on the PL. 440 repeater is not working as well as it did—we think it is the heat. Hope we can turn on the air at the shack.
We held a testing session and one new extra class ham passed his test.
We are holding another session on Aug 20.
New Business
Roy has been named the EC for Iroquois county. He suggested a SET exercise to be held soon. IMH radio is installed and Mike programmed it up with most of the local frequencies.
Program was the second half of our interesting film on antennas. . Our old duplexers are to be sold at Kankakee hamfest or we will try to sell on Eham
ARRL or QTH.com.
